Home Minister Shiva Raj Patil is out of Home Ministry now. He has resigned in the morning and now the Finance Minister P. Chidambaram is the new Home Minister.
Prime Minister Man Mohan Singh has kept the Finance Ministry with him and now the authorities' of Home have gone to the hands of more efficient Chidambaram.
Followed by the terror attack in Mumbai, there has been a pressure on Shiv Raj Patil to resign from the ministry following his inability to handle situations like these even in the recent past of bomb blasts throughout the country.
Now it has to be seen how far Chidambaram adds value to his newly given chair.
