Unofficial figures say that the figures are at least double those figures, if not more. So what is happening to that other 23cr? Grapevine has it that it is all going into the pockets of the corrupt police officers.

Since the amount seized is unaccounted money no one can go legal on it and so it is landing in the coffers of the corrupt policemen. Many who know the system well say that these policemen are likely to go scot-free, as the administration is non-existent due to the impending elections.

The corrupt policeman is as much to be blamed as the politician in this money game. Many citizens who are fed-up with this money-politics and dirty-politicians say that the policeman and politician are the two sides of the same coin!!
