Andhracafe.com- The Maharashtra State government had announced that Bollywood actress Rekha has been selected for the Raj Kapoor Jeevan Gaurav award (Lifetime Achievement). However, the actress refused the award stating that she was still into acting and hence she cannot accept the Lifetime Achievement award.

This was conveyed to the Maharashtra Government. Now, with Rekha’s contention, the Government has decided to rename the award as Raj Kapoor Pratiba Gaurav. Rekha will get this renamed award on May 30th this year.
