Andhracafe.com- The final verdict on the long pending issue of reservation for backward class Muslims in educational institutions would be given out by the Andhra Pradesh High Court on Monday. It was Ex CM YSR’s proposal to give 4% reservation for Backward Muslims, but many have challenged this move and subsequently the matter was referred to the court.

A seven judge bench headed by Justice A R Dave would take a decision on this matter today.

Given the plight of Muslims in India many feel that such a decision would go a long way in their upliftment. Moreover if the decision is positive then reservations for Muslims could be implemented in the rest of the country.
